Pier Sunset - Santa Monica Pier, California
I took this picture on my first trip to the famous Santa Monica Pier. That whole day I had ignored the fun, junk food, and rides. Instead I had devoted myself to photographing California's active beach culture. I set up my camera and tripod just as the sun was setting over the ocean.
